Mick started training children to play football when they were only 4 & 5 years of age, too young to play competition football but in preparation to join the Russell Foster Small Sided Leagues for the 2006/2007 season. The training started in 2004 at Barnwell Primary School then moving indoors to New Penshaw Primary School. The team are part of Lambton Lions Junior Football Club which was established in 1999.
